Enhydra RPO accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, TIFF, BMP, ICO, SVG, PSD, and camera RAW files (CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG) as input. Pick a target — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, BMP, or ICO — drop up to 200 files, and collect the result as a ZIP. Mixed-format batches are fine: CR2s and HEICs and PNGs all convert in the same run.
Conversion hooks into the same pipeline as resize, compress, crop, and EXIF removal, so you can convert and resize and strip GPS in one pass. One decode, one encode — no quality is compounded across steps.
JPG is the universal safe choice for photographs: compact, accepted everywhere, tolerant of modest lossy compression. Use it for email, print-lab uploads, and any destination you do not control.
PNG stores pixels losslessly and preserves transparency. Screenshots, logos, icons, and graphics with hard edges belong here. Files are larger, but every pixel is bit-for-bit identical to the source.
WebP beats JPG on file size at equivalent visual quality and is supported by all current browsers — a solid default for web delivery. AVIF goes further, often 30–50% smaller than WebP, but support on legacy devices and some software still lags. For anything staying on the web, WebP is the pragmatic pick today; AVIF is worth testing if you control the viewer environment.
Formats that carry an alpha channel — PNG, WebP, AVIF — preserve transparency when converting between them. Converting to JPG or GIF, which have no alpha, requires a decision: the converter flattens transparent areas onto a background color you choose, white or black, so you never receive unexpected solid-black fill where transparency used to be. Set the background before starting if your images have see-through regions.
CR2, NEF, ARW, and DNG files from most major camera manufacturers are accepted without any pre-conversion. Drop them alongside your JPGs and PNGs, convert everything to a single delivery format — WebP for a website, TIFF for a print lab — and the whole mixed batch processes together. Each file can be up to 80 MB, which covers large RAW exports comfortably. The result downloads as a ZIP containing the converted files.
Yes. HEIC is a supported input. Select JPG as the output, drop the files, and the converter handles decoding and re-encoding without any additional software on your end.
Yes. Both PNG and WebP support alpha channels, so transparency transfers across exactly. Only formats without alpha — JPG, GIF — require a background fill.

EXIF metadata is stripped by default. You can opt to keep it, including the ICC color profile, before starting the job.
