Fixed gravity places the crop window at a specified anchor: center, top, bottom, left, right, or any corner. Use this when you need geometric consistency rather than subject detection — for example, cropping all images from the top edge for a header banner that must always show the upper portion of the photo.
Many e-commerce platforms publish exact image size requirements: 2000×2000 px white-background JPG, or 1200×628 px for Open Graph images. The custom crop mode accepts exact pixel targets.
